Abram and Sarai

Genesis 12: 1-4; 17: 1-16
Growing in God’s Love pg 26

Godly Play at Home – Abram and Sarai Abram and Sarai travel around the land of Canaan searching for a new home that God has promised to them. They travel to different cities and realize that God is still with them wherever they go. Whether it be Shechem, Bethel, Egypt, or Hebron they found that God was still there with them just like he was when they were home in Haran. Karen Wright and Erin Thornburgh would you please share with Southminster folks? I hope you all enjoyed my video and have a lovely blessed Sunday!

Where are you Hiding God

Words to Think About:

  • Covenant – A promise between God and his people.
  • Immigrant – When families move from one country to another.
  • Genesis – The first book in the Bible. The first book in the Old Testament.
  • Old Testament – A library of books that happen before the birth of Jesus

Building brick by brick –
– I wonder what it would be like to trust God to pick up and move.
– I wonder if Abram was scared when God told he and Sarai to go.

Can you build markers like Abram did when they would arrive where God had sent them?

(This is adorable because children explain the story in their own words!)
